Tanzila Khan is passionate about designing and launching sustainable solutions for young people for their reproductive health.Tanzila was born and raised in Pakistan. She received a Bachelor of Laws degree in International Development from the University of London. As the Founder and Investor of Girlythings, she is responsible for leading projects.Since becoming a Young Leader, Tanzila is proud that Girlythings is the first mobile application to deliver sanitary napkins for women with disabilities and others. She also launched “Theatre of the Taboo,” a training module using theater to talk about sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and other related issues. Additionally, Tanzila received the Khadija tul Kubra Award, a national-level recognition for advocacy, and became Youth Champion at Rise Up, sponsored by Packard Foundation. As an advocate, she also received funding from AmplifyChange to implement a Training Institute in Lahore on SRHR and disabilities. Tanzila was inspired to become an advocate by her mother because she encourages and supports despite having a very patriarchal upbringing. In her free time, Tanzila enjoys swimming and writing.
