WES Presents "Recovery, but can it last?" with George Buckley
Posted on the 6th November 2013 by Christian
George Buckley, UK Chief Economist at Deutsche Bank, will be speaking at the Warwick Economics Summit's first WES Presents Session on Tuesday 26th November at 7.30pm in MS.02. It's free for everyone to attend and places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis so we advise getting there early!
George Buckley joined Deutsche Bank in 1998 as an Economist, shorty after gaining his MSc in Economics and Finance and PhD in the Economics of the Housing Market from Bristol University. He was appointed Chief UK Economist in 2005 and began leading the bank’s analysis into UK business cycle and monetary policy developments, also covering the Scandinavian and Swiss economies. His insights into the sub-prime mortgage prices that triggered the global recession in 2006/07, and potential London housing bubble are inevitably invaluable so make sure you don't miss out on his talk "Recovery, but can it last?"
