Anthony Thomson, co-founder of high street newcomer Metro Bank, is the final speaker to be added to this year's list of speakers.

Metro Bank was the first new retail bank to hit the high street in over 150 years when it launched in 2010. Known for its customer-friendly approach, its branches open on Sundays and keep dog biscuits in reserve for visiting pets.

Outside of Metro Bank, Anthony is Chair of the Financial Services Forum, which brings together senior executives in the industry to discuss financial marketing strategy.

‘Building the first new high street bank for over 100 years: an entrepreneur's perspective' is the title of the speech he's set to give at the Summit.
