Are you eager to come to the Summit, but are having trouble meeting the cost?
Over the past 3 years, Warwick Economics Summit has been running a successful Bursary Scheme, in conjunction with the University of Warwick's International Office. The aim of the Scheme is to provide financial support for talented overseas students, interested in attending the event.
We are offering a maximum of two students academic bursaries of up to £500 each, which will cover both the cost of a ticket and travel expenses. In exceptional circumstances the International Office may consider offering larger sums.
In 2014, our Bursary Scheme helped to bring students all the way from Singapore and Nigeria. Furthermore, in 2015, the Bursary Scheme brought students from Sri Lanka and Colombia to the Summit.
"It was a significant chance for me to share my experience of economic and sustainable development in Sri Lanka with global students... As an Economics student, I experienced the best from WES and the knowledge I gained from WES 2015 helped me to develop Sri Lankan youth in terms of economic development and enhance connectivity to modern business acumen amongst the students in Sri Lanka." - Ithara Ranawaka, 2015 Bursary Winner*
