Ambassadors.

Who are they?

An ambassador is a student nominated from outside Warwick University who acts as a representative for the Summit. As such, they are responsible for promoting the Summit nationally and overseas through social networking, distributing posters and flyering. They are the local point of contact for students at their university regarding the Summit information and are encouraged to organise a delegation of fellow students to attend.

Working with us as an integral part of the Externals Relations & Hospitality team, their role ranges from publicising WES on their campus to answering queries of interested delegates and updating them on our latest developments. Supporting the ambassadors along the way are dedicated Ambassador Managers within the Externals Relations & Hospitality team, who will provide them with what is needed to succeed in such a role.

Becoming an Ambassador is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your creativity, to perfect one's marketing skills, and to play an active part in a world-renowned academic conference.

This year’s virtual summit means ambassadors can take initiative in deciding how their university gets involved with WES 2021.

What do they do?
Awards

Each year, we select ambassadors who have exceptionally contributed to the organisation of WES to receive awards. All 2021 ambassadors will receive a certificate to commemorate their contribution to WES.
