The event in Warwick I got to join was of a very high inspiration to me. The way you organised the whole summit, including accomodation, talks, the easy-going agenda and the smiling faces of all the organizers, your commitment to this event and visible determination to make excellent was perfect and made everyone feel comfortable enough to concentrate purely on the economics with a hint of fun

t was my first time attending the summit this year, and I have to say that it was stunningly well planned, and exceeded all my expectations. I was expecting to be llectured about marginal utility and economic models along with a bit of aggregate supply and demand thrown in for good measure. How wrong I was!! From the outset, the meticulous planning and organisation was evident in the way there was already an "infrastructure" of people to support the process and answer any questions you could think of. All in all, it was an unforgettable weekend, during which solid friendships were made.

I have attended WES every year for the past three years and I can honestly say that I think that it is one of the best events at Warwick University as well as in the United Kingdom that is run by students. I would say the world but my experience is constrained to the UK. Every year there is something new that takes WES to the next level. The speakers are always phenomenal and the social on Saturday is always one to remember!

This is the first Summit I have been to. The Warwick Economics Summit was extremely well organised. I`m still in awe that it was completely student run. Kudos to you guys. The ball was fantastic with incredible decor. The summit has left me speechless. `Fantastic` is an understatment. It was beyond exquisite. The highlight was having a chat to George Akerlof during his book signing where he left me with few thoughts to ponder. Thank you for a FANTASTIC weekend.

The summit was an amazing and fulfilling experience for me. It not only enriched my knowledge in Economics, but it also afforded me the opportunity to network with other students across the EU. I want to say a big thank you to the organizing team. You guys exceeded my expectation.

Being involved with the Warwick Economics Summit is not only a good way to gain a better understanding of Economics and its role in the wider world but also a great opportunity to meet new people from all over the world and have a great time organising one of the best events on Warwick campus

The summit in 2010 was an incredible insight into the world of economic theory and economic policy. The appearance of Alistair Darling was a huge surprise: to have such an important speaker here at Warwick was greatly impressive! The dinner and dance was also a very classy way to end a very professional event- definitely will be there next year!

The summit last year was an amazing opportunity to engage and dig deeper into the world of economics and the impact on business. The seminars I found particularly fun as they gave the chance for stimulating debate, not just amongst my warwick colleagues, but with delegates from all over the world. The highlight for me was the dinner dance, what a great evening! I would highly recommend the summit to everyone!

Being part of the Talks Team of the Warwick Economics Summit was an incredible experience.
